On Sunday, November 20th, we heard from Al McKay, soon-to-be-retired Chaplain with Corporate Chaplains Outreach Canada, who has served people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods all his life. He has lived no further than 20 km from where he was born. Al is intimately acquainted with those in the DTES whose backgrounds and needs some of us can scarcely imagine and brings to us the story of Jesus stirring the waters to heal from John 5:1-17.
