• November 1 - Thomas Bergen of the Menno Simons Centre [residence coordinator with Cara] will be giving part one of two talks. He will speak on “The Dwelling of God” [Eph 2;22]: Reflections on Christian Community from Dietrich Bonhoeffer. A pizza lunch and congregational meeting will follow the service.


• November 8 - Thomas Bergen will give part two of his series on Christian Community. His talk is “Growing in Love [Eph 4;16]: Reflections on Christian Community from Jean Vanier.


• November 15 - Willard Metzger, Executive Secretary of Mennonite Church Canada will be with our fellowship. His talk is entitled “For Such a Time as This”, reflecting on Esther 4:11-17 and how the Anabaptist perspective has a particular role to play in this time in history.


• November 22 - Char Siemens recently spent 5 weeks in Iraq on a short-term MCC assignment. She will be sharing in a talk “Displaced Peoples in Iraq: A Longing for Home” with some reflections from Psalm 13 as text.
