October 9 (Thanksgiving) - Frieda Epp, an artist in our midst, will share how God speaks to her in art “My Experience with God and the Word”. We will also be celebrating the Lord’s Supper together.
October 16 - Thomas Bergen, Regent grad and co-Resident Coordinator at Menno Simons Centre will be speaking the “Parable of the Prodigal Sons”, which will be followed next month by the parable of the “Prodigal God”.
October 23 - Annika Krause, member of Sherbrooke Mennonite, is a graduate of AMBS in Faith Formation and has a BA in English from SFU. Her talk is “The two faces of Humility” [Luke 18:9-14, 2 Tim 4:6-8, 16-18; Joel 2:23-32, Ps 65].
October 30 - Amy Anderson, a former lawyer, but works presently as writer and editor in Communications at Regent College. Amy was the winner of the Conway Holy Land Travel bursary which provides opportunities for inter-religious dialogue and exploring issues of peace and justice in Palestine and Israel.
