September 4 – Andre Pekovich will read a reflection by Nadia Bolz Weber on violence and evil in our world through the lens of Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan. PGIMF will hold an anniversary celebrating 30 years. Communion will be served.
September 11 – Paul Stevens, Professor Emeritus at Regent College and Marketplace Theology Mentor will speak on “What’s It All About?” The text will be Luke 10:25-37 where is found the two great commandments, to love God and neighbour.
September 18 – Ken Friesen, practicing lawyer, and PCDA board member, will share reflections from his participation in the recent MCC learning tour of Lebanon.
September 25 – Rosie Perera will speak on “Moral Outrage: a Contradiction in Terms?”. She will share her thoughts on the difference between righteous anger and self-righteous indignation.
