Laura Sportack opened up the Advent Season with a meditation on Isaiah 2:2-3 and how the prophetic welcoming of all nations relates to the three advents (comings) of Jesus Christ. The first advent is the coming of Jesus in a manger, the second is the return of the Messiah in the future, and the third is the welcoming of Jesus in our hearts. With an ever-increasing cry for inclusion from the world, we are called to accept Jesus' teaching and fulfill the prophesy from Isaiah by welcoming people from all nations into the spiritual home of God.
