On March 12th, 2023, Laura Sportack spoke on the theme of Salvation and how Christians seem to have a hard time communicating its value towards non-Christians. She observed that Hollywood tells many stories following its theme, including no less than the redemption story of Darth Vader in Star Wars. Jesus himself explained Salvation with stories, and not with an academic thesis.

What was most striking, however, was that the greatest barrier that was preventing people from becoming Christians was other Christians. Perhaps what matters is not just what we say, or what great stories we are able to tell, but how we can become a living testament of the Salvation story for all to see. [JL]
