John Friesen led us through a liturgical service celebrating Marriage and the Family. With special music by Cynthia, a cello and piano duet by John Friesen and Cherie, and readings requiring much thought and review during the week following, it was a service to remember, especially in the quality of the sharing afterward. Especially intriguing was the distinction between Catholic and Protestant views of the spiritual purposes of covenant marriage.
