The title of the sermon was “Is God in Charge of the Garden?” She made references to many biblical gardening images and gardening based parables in her sermon. One of these parables, “the sower and the seed” from Mathew’s gospel, was the basis of many of her speeches during the retreat. She spoke eloquently of how Jesus used gardening images to share important secrets of the kingdom of Heaven with his, not too bright, disciples. [RK] No bulletin is available.
