Our service was graced by a recitation - nay a performance - of the Gospel of Mark from Chapters 1-6 by Adria Holub. We are reminded through this living performance that these gospels are not dead words, but the living Word, and speak to us best when someone speaks them to us, as Adria did. This is a tremendously difficult task, and one we are exceedingly grateful for whenever it has been done for us.
