Annika Krause (AMBS and SFU grad) shared her freshly-baked bread and the story from Joel 2:23-32 of God rescuing the land and the people from economic, psychological, and social trauma (see You Are My People by Stulman & Kim). Psalm 65 praises God for watering the earth and blessing its growth. We sang #455 from the hymnal about Christ, the Bread of Life, whose broken body feeds the hunger of our hearts.
