June 14 - Thomas Bergen, Regent grad and one half of the Menno Simons Centre Residence coordinator team will be speaking on the second part of his series “Spiritual Warfare for Mennonites: The Gospels and Jesus’ War” [Matthew 4:8-11, Mark 5:1-13, Luke 11:20-22, Matthew 16-16-18]
June 21 - Aboriginal Sunday - West Point Grey Joint Service. Rev. Mary Fontaine of Hummingbird Ministries will be speaking at this service organized by the West Point Grey Ministerial Cmtt. Mary Fontaine is Cree from the Mistawasis First Nation in Sask., and Hummingbird Ministries brings Church and Canadian folks together with Indigenous People through cultural and performing arts programs and a healing path workshop program. Service will be in Trimble Park, weather permitting, or St Helen’s Anglican if not.
June 28 - Rod Suderman, who along with his wife Kathi, has recently returned from working with MCC in Asia, will be speaking. They have been spending their transition year with their daughter, a student at UBC.
