On Sunday September 1, 2019, Jodi Spargur will speak on “People of the Covenant: Reconciliation, a call to covenant relationship?” Jodi describes herself as “a settler of Nordic/German heritage living and working on the unceded territory of the Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples.” She is a graduate of Regent College, was the founding pastor of God’s House of Many Faces, a church in the Downtown Eastside made up largely of indigenous people. She is currently leading the work of Healing at the Wounding Place, based out of Grandview Calvary Baptist Church, looking to engage people of faith and indigenous communities in walking into whole, healing and just relationships.
